Ronaldinho is just hours away from completing his move to Gremio, Milan chief Adriano Galliani has revealed.
The Brazilian side said on Friday that they were optimistic of landing the 30-year-old who has agreed to leave the Italians in an attempt to recharge his 2014 World Cup hopes in Brazil.
Talks have developed throughout the week, but a delay on wage agreements saw Blackburn Rovers, Flamengo and Palmeiras adopt the belief that they could sneak in.
However, Galliani appears confident that Gremio will conclude business with Milan and told Sky Sport Italia, "I think that Gremio have narrowed the gap, and I hope it is a decision taken within the next day or so.
"Ronaldinho asked to come and play in Brazil and we have tried to accomodate him. Our relationship has always been good. We salute him with great affection and great esteem."
